Design Aesthetics Melamine Finish Wood Slat Acoustic Panels 2400mm
Description:
Sound travels as waves, and when these waves encounter a solid surface, they reflect back into the space, creating an effect known as reverberation. Wood slat acoustic panels are constructed from vertical strips of medium-density fiberboard (MDF), each measuring 27 millimeters wide with a 13-millimeter gap between them. These panels are engineered to absorb and capture sound waves upon contact with both the felt backing and the wooden slats. This absorption prevents sound from reflecting back into the room, thereby reducing or eliminating reverberation. The dimensions of the panels and the spacing between the slats can be customized, allowing for a personalized aesthetic based on the desired look. The black or gray color applied to the area behind the slats is crucial for achieving a modern, striking appearance. This color choice enhances the overall design and visual appeal of the acoustic panels.

Installation:
Step 1: Preparing the wall involves cleaning and ensuring that the surface is even and ready for installation.
This step is crucial as it ensures that the acoustic panels will be mounted securely and effectively.
Step 2: Mounting the underlying battens involves attaching wooden strips to the wall, which will serve as a base for the
acoustic panels. Insulation wool can be placed between the battens if better acoustic performance is desired. This step
helps to improve sound insulation by reducing sound transmission through the walls.
Step 3: Mounting the acoustic panels involves attaching the panels directly onto the battensusing screws in the back acoustic felt.
It is recommended to use black screws to achieve the best finish. The panels should be mounted securely and evenly to ensure
optimal sound absorption.
Step 4: Once the acoustic panels are fully installed, the wall is now equipped with improved sound insulation properties.
The finished product should provide a more comfortable and quieter environment, reducing noise levels andimproving
overall acoustics.
